Go Green with Hedonism! We recently announced our “GO GREEN Initiative”, in part to appeal to travelers who are looking for greener holidays and seek out accommodations that share their attitudes towards environmental responsibility and energy conservation.

The initiative, championed by Chairman Harry Lange, is specifically designed to promote environmental (social and cultural) sustainability by raising awareness among our associates and guests, and inspire them to partner with us on sustainable initiatives.

GO GREEN Doorhanger

In this new initiative, guests will be invited to participate in GO GREEN by using the ‘green’ door hangers in their rooms. This will let housekeeping know that you are voluntarily participating in our ‘linen and towel re-use’ program to limit the amount water and energy consumption. The GO GREEN hanger will also highlight that the guest is practicing turning off their air conditioner and other electrical devices that are not in use or when the guests are not in their room. As incentives, the marked rooms will be entered into a daily drawing for $50 resort credit towards any on-property purchases and a weekly drawing for a complimentary, 3-night, return stay.

Eligibility and participation in GO GREEN is open to guests for each day (as many or few as desired) of their stay except for the day of departure. For guests who participate in the initiative for five nights or more, the resort will donate $10 in their names to a local scholarship fund.

Lange, who heads up the initiative, commented, “At Hedonism II, we believe there is a moral obligation to conserve the natural environment and give back to the community. We will continue increasing the GO GREEN Initiative in the coming weeks by providing suggestions and solutions, to help our guests become more environmentally friendly, and enhance their enjoyment while also being responsible tourists.”
