CHEF’S CORNER: MIX NUT TART

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Unsalted Butter
  • 12oz Granulated sugar
  • 2- Whole eggs
  • 1 1/2lb -Flour
  • 10oz assorted nuts chopped, Pecan, Walnuts, Pistachio and Peanuts
  • Tart filling

  • 250g. -corn syrup
  • 250g. -granulated sugar
  • 5 – Whole eggs
  • 1-teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Method:
    Cream sugar and Cheese, add eggs and heavy cream, Mango puree & Rum. Place in mold and freeze overnight. Cut in desire shape and size and serve.
