Some of the couples who bared more than their hearts during the Valentine's Day Nude Wedding at Hedonism II

SAYING “I DO!” IN THE NUDE:  HEDONISM II HOSTS VALENTINE’S DAY

AU NATURAL WEDDING FOR TEN UNINHIBITED COUPLES

HOLLYWOOD, FL, February 13, 2012 – Playing Cupid in the Caribbean, Hedonism II in Negril, Jamaica, invited ten adventurous couples to wed in the buff at the “party” resort this Valentine’s Day. Though most would blush at the thought, more than 100 betrotheds applied for the chance to exchange vows au natural.

In reply to the contest application question, “Why would you choose a nude wedding?,” the reasons varied.  One couple said, “We love each other naked so why not start our life together naked?” while another admitted, “We both love doing wild and crazy things!” Many said it’d be a dream come true, and one lucky couple thought, “It would be a memory we could enjoy in our golden years.”

Winning pairs received a complimentary bachelor/bachelorette party, wedding, and four-night stay at the resort. Hedonism II, which has thrice-hosted the “World’s Largest Nude Wedding,” is celebrating its 30th anniversary as an adult playground.

Sitting on 22 acres on Negril’s scenic seven-mile beach amid ocean views and white sand beaches are 280 beach or garden-view rooms and 12 suites with private Jacuzzis and terraces for intimate time alone. From a wide array of water and land sports to the late night club, nightly themed parties and five different bars, Hedonism II strikes the perfect balance between relaxing and rousing, providing an unforgettable wedding and honeymoon experience – or just a great vacation.

It’s Valentine’s Day and in Jamaica, everyone gets in on the act. Though they aren’t able to verbally say “I do!” this ‘statuesque’ couple in Kingston’s Emancipation Park has (un)dressed for the part. Adorned with a veil and top hat in honor of the February 14 group nude wedding at Hedonism II in Negril, the Redemption Song statue represents unbridled freedom. The work by Laura Facey-Cooper bears the inscription, “None but ourselves can free our minds.” The ten couples baring all while exchanging vows at Hedonism couldn’t agree more.
